The Rise of Hybrid Project Management Methodology
with Steve Reidenbach and Amie Dsouza
a presentation that my colleague Amie Dsouza and I could share at an upcoming NWA PMI chapter meeting. It would be such a privilege to have this opportunity to bring a new topic to our local group of project management professionals! Amie and I will be in Dallas during the January 20th monthly chapter meeting, so it would be best if we could plan to present either on February 16th , on March 16th or on April 20th. I could present in-person on those days, and Amie could join us remotely via Zoom.

Topic: The Rise of Hybrid Project Management Methodology
Over the past 14 years many Cybersecurity teams in medium or large organizations have adopted an Agile way of working. What were the results? A tremendous rise in the use of a Hybrid approach! This session aims to be a candid discussion about the reasons behind the rise of Hybrid project management, the emergence of Quantum project management and special considerations when selecting the most effective project management methodology—Agile, Traditional, or Hybrid—to meet the specific needs and dynamics of your technology team. Together we will explore how different the project management frameworks can enhance or derail team performance, improve or erode operational efficiency, and will add or reduce friction during the execution of complex cybersecurity initiatives.
Learning Objectives:
- Methodology insights: Understanding the pros and cons of Agile, Traditional, and Hybrid approaches in the context of cybersecurity projects. Learn about the emergence of Quantum project management.
- Practical application: How to assess needs and select the right approach for specific cybersecurity initiatives.
- Actionable strategies: Key conversations to have with your team, depending on your role related to a Program Management organization.
